We hebben al een druk jaartje vol met epische Air Jordan 1-releases achte de rug, het is dan ook de beurt aan SoleFly om het jaar af te sluiten met een knaller van jewelste in de vorm van deze SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Onze titel is misschien wat optimistisch, want de kans dat je dit paartje daadwerkelijk in bezit zal krijgen is érg klein.
De collab tussen SoleFly en Jordan hebben twee verschillende versies opgeleverd, een leren versie en een versie dat gebruik maakt van zeer shiny lakleder. De lederen versie dropt op 8 december in zeer gelimiteerde aantallen in de Verenigde Staten, terwijl de glossy laklederen versie nóg beperkter zal worden opgeleverd en de planken van de detailhandel niet eens zal gaan raken.
Naast de zeer dope colorway heeft de inbreng van SoleFly ook enkele vette nieuwe details toegevoegd aan dit ontwerp. Aan de binnenzijde van de tong tags is de tekst “305” en “MIA” terug te vinden, ook is er een nieuw Wings-logo toegepast op de hiel van de schoen op de hiel. Beide varianten worden geleverd met een gouden Jumpman-hanger en twee extra setje veters, waarmee je vette kan colorblocken en kan variëren.
